Appears to work fine in amd64. Most importantly, it will unlock an apparent slot/subslot conflict with Qt related updates for some stable systems :-)
We do not stabilise packages to simplify arch/~arch mixing for users. In general dev-qt packages are stabilised whenever there is a reverse dependency requiring that stabilisation.
Andreas, I know that and this report is here because this package seems to work and there are no outstanding bugs for it. Please take my second comment as additional information, for the benefit of those who may come searching.

Out of interest, on a stable system, why did you need to add qtquicktimeline? Presumably you could request stabilisation of the actual package needing it?
Sam, I think the culprit is qt-creator (which doesn't have a stable option). I had a look and there are some outstanding issues that don't affect me personally but may affect others, so I didn't want to report a stablereq. I haven't looked at the issues closely enough to decide where to focus some effort, as there are some problems and a version bump progressing, those may or may not be related. The easiest thing I could do is testing, of course, but I'll be back here if I find anything to contribute.
Package list is empty or all packages have requested keywords.
