There isn't any data directory. Thus I got this message:
"
FATAL: Please be sure the files 'Map', 'Shapes', 'Images' and 'Sounds' are correctly installed and try again. (error -1)
"

In the above sf's URL I found:

Supporting Files     SDL-style data files    Feb. 12, 2001 etc....

Probably they should have been downloaded, shouldn't they?

alephone is just the engine, the data files are sep ebuilds (not in portage yet)
