https://blogs.gentoo.org/ago/2020/07/04/gentoo-tinderbox/ Issue: sys-auth/elogind-246.9.1 fails to compile with dev-lang/python-exec[-native-symlinks]. Discovered on: amd64 (internal ref: tinderbox) NOTE: Please take a look at the tracker bug for more info.
Created attachment 681574 [details] build.log build log and emerge --info
Possible context of error(s): /usr/bin/env: ‘python3’: No such file or directory /usr/bin/env: ‘python3’: No such file or directory
Same as all the other -native-symlinks bugs with meson...
if meson requires python-exec[native-symlinks] then a use dep isn't exactly hard to add. why has this been open for two months?
That's a question for meson maintainers, and -native-symlinks isn't exactly top priority here.
