it's kinda strange as the make error is at the beginning but it actually fails much later :/ i'm not sure if this is arch specific, didn't have a closer look at it, so please reassign if i was wrong :)

looks like the configure script is stupid:

`-mcpu=' is deprecated. Use `-mtune=' or '-march=' instead.
about.c:1: error: bad value (x86_64) for -mtune= switch
