When trying to build klogic I get this configure error:

configure: error: The important program mcopidl was not found!
Please check whether you installed aRts correctly.

Note that this is not the same error as in bug #54487.

Comment 1 Carsten Lohrke (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-12-31 10:27:13 UTC
sci herd: The kde herd wants to get arts optional for all packages. Please patch accordingly or reassign to us.
Comment 2 Patrick Kursawe (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-12-31 18:27:50 UTC
Hm... de-installed ARTS and emerged 1.61 successfully. Will have to check this later in more detail. Which version did you try to emerge?
Comment 3 jsado_sc3 2005-01-01 11:24:15 UTC
I emerged 1.6. I don't update my portage tree frequently, because I am on a dialup connection. If 1.61 is no longer masked ~x86 then I'll update and try building that.
Comment 4 Marcus D. Hanwell (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-01-02 19:49:37 UTC
klogic-1.61 has been marked stable on x86 and amd64 as it has been in testing for well over a month with no apparent issues. As stated earlier this compiles fine for Patrick, and I have also successfully compiled it on an arts free amd64 system with no problems.

Could 1.61 also be marked stable on PPC?
Comment 5 Joe Jezak (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-01-02 20:23:23 UTC
Sure, tested fine and marked ppc stable.
Comment 6 jsado_sc3 2005-01-04 16:44:49 UTC
Yep, 1.61 works fine for me.
Comment 7 Marcus D. Hanwell (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-01-04 17:25:20 UTC
That's great - closing this bug now.
