Emerging DFBSee is ok though ;)

Calculating dependencies ...done!
>>> emerge (1 of 1) media-video/dfbsee-0.7.4 to /
>>> md5 src_uri ;-) DFBSee-0.7.4.tar.gz
>>> Unpacking source...
>>> Unpacking DFBSee-0.7.4.tar.gz to /var/tmp/portage/dfbsee-0.7.4/work
>>> Source unpacked.
>>> Test phase [not enabled]: media-video/dfbsee-0.7.4

>>> Install dfbsee-0.7.4 into /var/tmp/portage/dfbsee-0.7.4/image/ category media-video
make: *** No rule to make target `install'. Stop.

!!! ERROR: media-video/dfbsee-0.7.4 failed.
!!! Function src_install, Line 23, Exitcode 2
!!! (no error message)
!!! If you need support, post the topmost build error, NOT this status message.

actually run econf and emake before make install

Another little detail:

QA Notice: /usr/bin/dfbsee is setXid, dynamically linked and using lazy
bindings.
This combination is generally discouraged. Try: LDFLAGS='-Wl,-z,now' emerge
dfbsee
