Attached are ebuilds for the latest RC for Xfce 4.2. They're simply version bumps from 4.1.99.2.

can we wait till a propper release?
Please don't put tarballs as attachements either. Just the ebuild and or patches is good.
Comment 3 Andrew Conkling 2004-12-30 22:13:04 UTC
[shrugs] I just made ebuilds so that I could upgrade (xfmedia 0.6.0 depends on RC3 anyway) and figured I'd contribute them to the community. Whether or not you wish to add them to Portage, at least they're out there for people to grab on their own....

And who knows exactly how soon the proper release will be coming? It's been over two months since 4.2 was released in beta, and that was quite stable code compared to some other things in Portage....

Thanks for that assessment. I may get around to looking at it later.

Passing to xfce herd cause I didn't know they existed.
x11-wm/xfce didn't have a metadata.xml listed.
Comment 6 Andrew Conkling 2005-01-02 08:15:41 UTC
Adding Brad Cowan to the list, as he normally does Xfce stuff.
Comment 7 Brad Cowan (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-01-02 09:53:01 UTC
was too busy with work and holidays to do anything with my computer, should be in portage now that I'm laid off again, thanks for the work
