net-dns/bind version 9.3.0 stable is out. portage currently has 9.2.2-rx as the most recent, though there is an ebuild for 9.3.0rc2 which has no supported OR archs, which is strange...

proposed ebuild for bind-0.9.3

i can only test the ebuild on x86, so i have changed the archs for this ebuild
to "~x86" in accordance to policy dictating only to add keywords that the
author has actually tested. i would imagine that other developers will want
this package for their archs, so please test :-)

ahh! change the name of that ebuild to bind-9.3.0

how did that happen? its named correctly on my computer....

I noticed that the known bugs list for 9.3.0 includes the following:

          named.conf(5) is being installed in the wrong location.

I took a quick look at the ebuild.  But since I don't know the framework that well I can't tell if the ebuild corrects this bug.

this ebuild installs named.conf to /etc/bind/named.conf
