The ebuild for sloccount works for sparc just fine. 2.22 tested works okay on my ultrasparc U2 Should add sparc keyword to this ebuild Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
I'm going to take this one, since I gave it the ~sparc in the first place. However, I'm going to make it wait for 68624 before moving it from ~sparc --> sparc, because I think those silly error messages are tacky. I agree that it works fine, but I would like to wait for the corrected version before going stable.
This appears to be fixed as to the 'tail' warnings. If others using sloccount will verify that the warnings are gone (and that everything else still works) and comment back to this bug, sparc can go stable.
Now stable for sparc, even though the initial high level of interest in sloccount on sparc seems to have abated. The tail problem is fixed, and nothing new has been reported against sloccount for over a month now.
