This is impossible to stabilize on x86 due to

>    cpu_flags_x86_ssse3

There is no 32-bit hardware supporting SSSE3.

I'm pretty sure people use x86 keyword when running 32-bit userland on amd64 (both with 32-bit and 64-bit kernels).
