speedfreq settings are poor from ebuild,

/etc/conf.d/speedfreq speed value is auto, that means that only scripts change speed, so it runs at lowest cpu speed at always?

It should be changed to dynamic?

would the default from bug 70163 be ok for you?

on ac: performance

sys-power/speedfreq is deprecated in favor of sys-power/cpufreqd due to unresolved bugs and lack of upstream activity.
