xslt-process has v 2.2 out now. Also, it is not dependent on xemacs alone. it also works on emacs. However, when one tries to 'emerge xslt-process', it forces you to install xemacs and lots of accompanying crap that I don't want. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Expected Results: either emacs or xemacs should satisfy dependencies for xslt-process, and aother addon crap shouldn't matter.
emacs, xemacs, is there any interest at all in this or should we give it the boot?
This ebuild is for the xemacs-specific package of xslt-process, and thus it requires xemacs and a number of other xemacs packages to work. This version most probably cannot be used by emacs due to xemacs specific hacks. If you want to use xslt-process with emacs then it is probably best to open a new bug for that. Note also that version number is the xemacs package version number. 1.11 is currently in the tree, and 1.12 is the most recent upstream version. This corresponds to version 1.2.1 of xslt-process proper, a newer version hasn't been packaged. I'll keep the bug open until 1.12 is in portage. Treecleaners, I'm removing you from the bug because everything in app-xemacs/* will be handled by the xemacs herd shortly.
app-xemacs/xslt-process-1.12 is now in portage.
