Description Dennis Schridde 2020-11-15 01:09:05 UTC
yarn v2 was released a while ago. It comes from https://github.com/yarnpkg/berry instead of https://github.com/yarnpkg/yarn.

Potentially interesting:
* https://github.com/yarnpkg/berry/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md
* https://yarnpkg.com/getting-started/migration

Reproducible: Always

It's been more than half a year now, seems like this package is unmaintained?

Yep. If there's any interest, you could do a Github pull request for us to process updating the package?

I've looked into this and apparently yarn 2.* is not meant to be installed globally but rather on per-project basis (https://yarnpkg.com/getting-started/install), meaning that when you run 'npm -g install yarn' you still get yarn 1.*

Taking that into account it seems like there's no need to bump this to 2.* at all?

That does sound like good news to me, but I'd still like a word from anyone listed as a maintainer :)
