TBF I don't know why proxy-maint is still CCd for composer, doesn't look like we've done anything in 2+ years. Pinging whissi directly.

I personally don't care much about stable but we can do that. However, most PHP packages should get marked for ALLARCHES first. I'll do that this week...

Me neither for leaf packages, but this duplicates work since everybody wanting to install composer on stable arch needs to unmask these specific versions.

I don't run ~arch on my servers.

So during spring cleaning I've apparently dropped bunch of packages required to be stabilized in this bug. Now I'm pondering between reverting bunch of those commits, or stabilizing composer-2 instead. What do you think? Either way I can do the "cleanup work". 

I personally vote for stabilizing composer-2.

Well semver was reverted and everything else seems to be present. No idea how to re-trigger nattkas' sanity check, but this stable request should be good to go again.
