For several releases now there has been a persistent problem with opera and their compleate ignorance about the libraries included in openmotif. Openmotif no longer includes libXm.so.x and therefore you have to either install lesstif or simply copy the missing libraries from there. If you don't opera will most likelly still run but you might experience accidental crashes and other *unexplained* problems. The ebuild for opera should be fixed so it either has lesstif as dependancy or after the install off opera you the ebuild adds libXm.so.1 and libXm.so.3 to the lib dir. libXm.so.3 is not needed, opera takes whatever libXm.so. version it finds
