When I emerged recently after syncing up I got an error that awesfx failed to emerge due to a bad patch. The file from the failed patch, awesfx-0.5.0b-makefile-noalsa.patch-7148.out, is attached.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge awesfx
2.
3.

Actual Results:  
 * Applying awesfx-0.5.0b-makefile-noalsa.patch ...

 * Failed Patch: awesfx-0.5.0b-makefile-noalsa.patch!

Perhaps I caught a period where not all the changes checked into the emerge system was complete. The latest sync and execution of emerge patched awesfx fine. In fact it just completed building.

The problem still remains for me!
I think this always occurs when USE=-alsa.
