Description Jacques Serfontein 2004-12-22 14:39:58 UTC
After getting my 2004.3(AMD64) system booted ( stage1 build ), everything
went well, UNTIL I tried emerging X.org ( with up to date portage tree ), and I got this :

libtool --mode=compile x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-g++ -Wall -pedantic -I/usr/include/freetype2 -march=k8 -pipe ttmkfdri.o -c ttmkfdir.cpp
libtool: compile: unable to infer tagged configuration
libtool: compile: specify a tag with '--tag'
make: *** [directory.o] Error 1
make: *** Waiting for finished jobs....
libtool: compile: unable to infer tagged configuration
libtool: compile: specify a tag with '--tag'
make: *** [ttmkfdir.o] Error 1

!!! ERROR Function src_compile, Line 39, Exitcode 2

I really want X.org running...

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Sorry, found another post about the same issue.

To resolve, simply recompile libtool.
