Thanks for reporting and proposing a fix.

The error in emerging dev-cpp/intx::ethereum without the patch is reproducible, and the proposed patch fixes it.

The patch was already merged into the original sources of the ethereum overlay; see https://github.com/coolparadox/ethereum-gentoo-overlay/commit/a26ca92c5d0367da2912f92ebc3785ffeb898632

Since I'm the assignee of this bug, I'm marking it as fixed.
