after emerging games-fps/rtcw-1.41-r2 and copying the .pk3 files to /opt/rtcw/main running the game complains about a missing default.cfg then states that all files are not installed. running the downloaded wolf-linux-1.4-full.run file gives a readme file that states this is just an update not the full install. My mistake... Permissions on the .pk3 files were wrong after copying them and the game couldn't load them. fixed permissions and the game starts. please remove the bug
