Hello to the Gentoo development team! Here are some *new* CPAN module ebuilds to add into the Portage tree. I prepared them really to support the new version of HTML-Mason, which I use for development in conjunction with Apache and mod_perl. I haven't submitted the new HTML-Mason build or the required IPC-ShareLite module in this tarball because I haven't got around to making them fully automatic yet (i.e. they ask for user input during the build). I will submit these also as soon as I have rectified this. Here are the modules in the attached tarball: dev-perl/Attribute-Handlers (0.77) dev-perl/Cache-Cache (1.01) dev-perl/Class-Container (0.07) dev-perl/Class-Data-Inheritable (0.02) dev-perl/Devel-StackTrace (0.9) dev-perl/Devel-Symdump (2.03) dev-perl/Exception-Class (1.01) dev-perl/File-Spec (0.82) dev-perl/Params-Validate (0.24) dev-perl/Scalar-List-Utils (1.0701) I have put in the necessary dependencies and given suitable descriptions and URLs to the builds. Kerin, we will take a look at the ebuilds. Just so you know, however, ONLY ebuilds which have dependencies on packages which are NOT perl modules will be considered. For the others, please just use CPAN.
Kerin, these are all in portage now. Another dev added the new HTMl-Mason and the prereq deps outside of this bug. Let me know if you have any problems, mike
