Description Juan 2004-12-19 12:05:00 UTC
On occasion, when I open a new chat window to a buddy via the MSN protocol, I recieve this error:

Message could not be sent because a connection error occured: my message

This only occurs when a new gaim proccess is launched, ie: system reboot or new gaim instance.

Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Exit gaim and launch new instance of gaim
2. Open up an IM window to a buddy via MSN protocol
3. Sometimes, not always, I get error described in details

Actual Results:
Sometimes I get the error "Message could not be sent because a connection error
occured: my message" and sometimes I don't.

Expected Results:
It should always just send the text to the specified buddy.

I would like (a) the version of gaim you are using and (b) debug log output of this event happening.

I have not been able to reproduce this bug since I submitted this bug report. It was occuring with version 1.0 and 1.1.0 but not 1.1.1....

I suppose it's ok to close this bug.
