Alexey is an active proxy-maintainer [1], and significantly contributes to the Games project (but not limited to), often working with quite difficult packages like games-engines/openmw and dev-games/openscenegraph-openmw [2]. He sends a lot of PRs on GitHub and helps in reviewing. Alexey is also an upstream developer of net-irc/znc and a contributor to many other projects [3]. He works at Google SRE. I will be his mentor. As we have discussed with Stefan, Alexey needs more practical experience before he can join us as a full dev. Please reopen this bug again no less than in 3 months. This is a reasonable time span to address knowledge gaps.
