Currently start function contains this:

        start-stop-daemon --start --exec $DNSDIST --pidfile ${PIDFILE} \
                -b -m -- --supervised -u ${DNSDIST_USER} -g
${DNSDIST_GROUP} \
                -C $DNSDIST_CONFFILE ${DNSDIST_OPTIONS}

Probably work of some "overzealous" file editor..
