The Gentoo PPC Handbook has a very unclear section on partitioning hard drives. While the x86 one is quite clear about what partitions are required for the bootloader and such, the PPC one has a very confusing diagram. Obviously there are different requirements for partitioning on the PPC architecture than the x86 (apparently it requires a separate "partition table" partition, and there are 'special' Apple partitions that you can't delete with the partition editor [wTF?]) but the handbook neglects to explain this. It needs an extra paragraph or two inserted at the top of the section explaining how partitioning works on the PPC architecture. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
The tabular is quite easy to understand. Also the describing text. Where are your special problems? Can you make suggestions for an alternate text?
