Description Andrew Kirilenko 2004-12-18 04:57:39 UTC
Hello!

Somebody working on it? When it will be ready?

I can try to create ebuild if somebody will be so kind to generate xdeltas for me (with previous version) because it is too big to download it with my connection...

This has a very low priority for us. We may be persuaded to include one in the tree, if somebody submits an ebuild for it.

Isn't there already an ebuild in there for this? I see one for:

sun-jdk-1.5.0.ebuild
sun-jdk-1.5.0.01.ebuild

j2sdk is the one that builds it from the source sun provides under there Java Research License (for 1.5)

dev-java/sun-j2sdk is being removed from the tree Sunday (1/30/2005) unless someone steps up to maintain the package. It is highly suggested that you use the sun-jdk-bin package instead of this. Keep in mind that if you use sun-j2sdk, you can not contribute to any other JVM (due to the license agreement).
