Hi! I am trying to emerge linux-gazette-all and that fails to emerge due to "Failed on MD5 verification" of /usr/portage/distfiles/lg-issue98.tar.gz, emerging app-doc/linux-gazette-98 to /. I already redownloaded the file several times from all download locations given (including the linux-gazette.net site), I always get this error. Is the MD5 sum stored in portage (where?!) correct? Thanks! Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge linux-gazette-all 2. wait for linux-gazette-98 to emerge Actual Results: !!! Digest verification failed: !!! /usr/portage/distfiles/lg-issue98.tar.gz !!! Reason: Failed on MD5 verification This happens independent of which mirror (incl. the original linux-gazette.net). Expected Results: The tar file should pass the MD5 verification... if correctly downloaded. Unfortunately I can not find MD5sums on linux-gazette.net to verify this. I get the same behavior independent of the mirror (listed with emerge -pf linux-gazette-all), so I had hoped that one of the downloads was correct:-) I have no net access on my gentoo box, so I can not paste. The output is too long to type into this field.
