your perl / opengl is broken

fix it (re-emerge packages)
Comment 2 Jurek Bartuszek (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-12-16 16:55:24 UTC
Hmm... I reemerged perl, sdl-perl and nvidia-* packages... still no effect :(

Ok... works now... just had to restart X ;-) My fault.

Comment 5 Pasi Sjöholm 2005-01-09 16:15:55 UTC
I had same problem... I could make frozen-bubble emerge to work by three different ways:

1. LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.3.98 emerge frozen bubble
2. cp /usr/lib/libnvidia-tls.so.1.0.6629 /usr/lib/tls/libnvidia-tls.so.1.0.6629
3. recompiling glibc with ntpl

It's got to do something with TLS support. First fix turns it off, second one copies not-tls nvidia-libs over tls-nvidia-libs and the third one gives the tls-support for the system I guess.
