Description Paul Thompson 2004-12-16 14:09:37 UTC
After experiencing problems with spumux after upgrading ImageMagick from
5.5.7 to 6.1.3.4 (spumux is used to create menus and subtitles), I
posted on the dvdauthor-users list, and was told dvdauthor-0.6.10 doesnt
work well with version 6 ImageMagick, and was told to try the 'alpha',
which does work properly. I went to test dvdauthor-0.5.0, the only unmasked
verion in portage, but it doesnt even have the spumux exe;)

I include the quickie ebuild I used to get the alpha-2773 dvdauthor, as
a reference. (not suitable for inclusion in portage as is.)

what about 0.6.11 , is this still an issue in that version?
Comment 3 Paul Thompson 2005-04-22 23:08:49 UTC
no, 0.6.11 behaves correctly, as expected with ImageMagick 6 (untested older
versions of ImageMagick) You can close the bug, and I can stop maintaining
my alpha ebuilds...
