I start up Evolution 2.0.2 and leave it running in the background as I work on other stuff. Every once in a while, a message will pop up, informing that "the application evolution-data-server has unexpectedly quit". If someone has an idea as to how I could reproduce this reliably/ provoke the crash, please let me know. To try to figure out what is going on I now start up Evolution with the --debug=mylog.txt option. Start Evolution 2. Wait 3. Actual Results: Evolution crashes. Expected Results: Not crash. I use an MTA that delivers mail into local maildirs. Evolution reads the mail from there. Never had problems with Evolution 1.4 with this setup. Evolution emerged with: +crypt -debug +doc -ipv6 -kerberos +ldap -mozilla +nntp +pda +spell +ssl
do you still have this problem with 2.2.1.1?
I actually stopped using Evolution.
