Changed Makefile

Just small changes to the Makefile. Basically i removed the lib64 entries.
Dunno if there will be lib64 libraries in future, but my System is a 64 bit
one.

created an ebuild

There is lots of stuff missing in this ebuild. Just a quick shot at it. It only
works if i do it manually. emerge vym*ebuild does not work the way i want it to
do. Surely my fault.

Hi,

I've fixed up your ebuild, and added it to Portage as 'x11-misc/vym'. It should appear on your local rsync mirror in about an hour. Please test, and let me know how you get on.

The only thing I haven't managed to do yet is to generate the PDF docs.

Best regards,
Stu

patch for linkablemapobj.cpp

This patch is needed if you want to build vym for a 64 bit system.

I'm getting sandbox violation on this ebuild.

Re-opening bug.
Comment 9 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-05-27 06:19:00 UTC
Hmm - there is Bug 78742 about the sandbox violation, no point to solve this in
two places, IMHO.
Comment 10 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-07-16 01:42:05 UTC
There is a patch for sandbox violation in the other bug, anyone tried that one?

Please try vym-1.7.0, and see if the problem still happens.

Best regards,
Stu
