Hi! I have attached a (very simple) elan-interpreter-3.6g.ebuild for the ELAN interpreter. The ELAN language is a rule-based programming language suitable for executable specifications of deductive systems. It is used in a lot of academic as well as in some industry projects. You can find more information at: http://elan.loria.fr/ The ELAN system is in many aspects comparable to the Maude system available in dev-lang. Thus I would propose addition of this ebuild to the dev-lang category. Bye, Peter
Created attachment 46025 [details] simple elan-interpreter-3.6g.ebuild I do not know if there are any non-standard depends needed. As far as I can see it uses lex and a number of other standard utilities, but I assume they do not have to be explicitly added, right?
Okay, looking at similar ebuilds I should probably have added at least libc, gcc, flex and bison. See the new attachment.
Created attachment 46581 [details] new ebuild with dependencies.
Version 3.7a exists at http://elan.loria.fr/get_elan/index-formulaire.html . Might want to update the url field to http://elan.loria.fr/ as well.
Hello, I'm sorry that your bug has been neglected for close to 5 years. If interested you can submit your ebuild to the sunrise overlay http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/sunrise/ where you can get help and maintain it yourself.
