as "<optimized out>". I know my /etc/portage/make.conf contains: COMMON_FLAGS="-O2 -pipe" CFLAGS="${COMMON_FLAGS}" CXXFLAGS="${COMMON_FLAGS}" FCFLAGS="${COMMON_FLAGS}" FFLAGS="${COMMON_FLAGS}" but shouldn't the debug flag in the asterisk ebuild take care of that?
This bug was open because I am experiencing a segmentation fault in Asterisk (with PJSIP), and I am unable to report a full backtrace upstream because of the optimizations. Sure, I coudl try to compile manually but in the meantime, this bug report was created. The issue I'm having is with the latest Asterisk version in portage: Reloading module 'res_pjsip.so' (Basic SIP resource) double free or corruption (fasttop) Aborted
Hi, Setting USE=debug doesn't set -O0, does the situation improve if you set your -O level to 0 instead? COMMON_FLAGS="-O0 -pipe" You can do this in an env setup for asterisk only.
