Hi, I've made a quick ebuild for the Dosage package for web comic retrieval. I didn't see an ebuild of an entry in bugs so here's my submission. From the Dosage home page: "Dosage is an application designed to keep a local "mirror" of specific web comics, with a variety of options for naming schemes and updating options. It supports a recursive "catch-up" method, where it traverses a comic by essentially "visiting" previous comics and picking out the comics. Dosage is written entirely in Python, and relies on regular expressions to do most of the grunt work." I think it'd fit best in app-misc/dosage since that's where i similar package, webcomics-collector, is located. Attached is the ebuild, I'm not sure what other requirements are for sumitting an ebuild. I can't tell by the Gentoo docs what's required of me and of the maintainer. So give me a heads up if anything is missing. I've tested a merge and unmerge and it works flawlessly. Also I've set the arch to ~x86 but according to their home page it should be available for every platform that Python runs on. Unfortunately I don't have the opprotunity to test this out. If someone else wants to try it on other platforms it'd be much appreciated so that it can be included for everyone else. -Mike

(this is an automated message based on filtering criteria that matched this bug) 'EBUILD' is in the KEYWORDS which should mean that there is a ebuild attached to this bug. This bug is assigned to maintainer-wanted which means that it is not in the main tree. Hello, The Gentoo Team would like to firstly thank you for your ebuild submission. We also apologize for not being able to accommodate you in a timely manner. There are simply too many new packages. Allow me to use this opportunity to introduce you to Gentoo Sunrise. The sunrise overlay[1] is a overlay for Gentoo which we allow trusted users to commit to and all users can have ebuilds reviewed by Gentoo devs for entry into the overlay. So, the sunrise team is suggesting that you look into this and submit your ebuild to the overlay where even *you* can commit to. =) Because this is a mass message, we are also asking you to be patient with us. We anticipate a large number of requests in a short time. Thanks, On behalf of the Gentoo Sunrise Team, Jeremy.
