Description Christian B. 2004-12-14 04:45:37 UTC
When booting LiveCD 2004.3 for AMD64 with the option dokeymap it asks for the keymap but doesn't load it.
In the line below the question it mentions that it can't find the appropriate keymap.
I tried "10" and "de", both won't work. I didn't try the others. default keymap works fine.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. boot: gentoo dokeymap
2. "10" or "de"

Actual Results:
boot process writes:
can't load keymap "10", not found
(i wrote this from my mind, can't remember the exact words)

I tried several others ("2", "be", "22") and none works.

Another problem with the keymap selection is that "backspace" doesn't
work properly: There always remain one character (e.g. typing "22" and
then trying to erase it always leaves a "2", even when hitting backspace
twice or more).

Please try 2005.0; if the issue still exists then please reopen this bug. Thanks!
