This should be treecleaned: - Bug that has been unresolved for 3 years + no maintainer for this time. - Since 2015 the package has recieved two featureful commits: https://github.com/gentoo/gentoo/commits/master/x11-plugins/pidgin-mpris - HOMEPAGE & SRC_URI seem to be unavailable (fail endlessly) m0n5t3r.info/work/pidgin-mpris/ - Other distros seemed to have abandoned the package: they do not ship the newest version & new releases of the distros do not do that at all https://repology.org/project/pidgin-mpris/versions
