 * Determining the location of the kernel source code
 * Found kernel source directory:
 *     /kernel-5.4.52

No clue where that kernel comes from but it looks to be broken.
Comment 3 Agostino Sarubbo gentoo-dev 2020-09-13 19:06:11 UTC
it is a standard vanilla kernel, unpacked in a uncommon directory. I'm using KERNEL_DIR variable to point there
Comment 4 Michał Górny archtester Gentoo Infrastructure gentoo-dev Security 2020-09-13 20:38:30 UTC
I can't reproduce it with genuine Gentoo kernel.
Comment 5 Agostino Sarubbo gentoo-dev 2020-09-14 06:10:34 UTC
can you try with the tarball of 5.4.52 provided on kernel.org? I can pass config if needed.
