After upgrading to GNOME 3.36 and media-fonts/cantarell-0.201 text disappeared in all QT apps.
I confirmed those breakage with Audacious, qBittorrent, SMPlayer.

While trying to load any QT app there are errors in console:
load glyph failed err=3 face=0x55691d176260, glyph=512
load glyph failed err=3 face=0x55691d176260, glyph=584
load glyph failed err=3 face=0x55691d176260, glyph=586
load glyph failed err=3 face=0x55691d176260, glyph=603
load glyph failed err=3 face=0x55691d176260, glyph=596
load glyph failed err=3 face=0x55691d176260, glyph=605

Deleting "/usr/share/fonts/cantarell/Cantarell-VF.otf" file fixes this issue.

So Light and Thin fonts works fine while Regular Bold and Extra Bold fonts are fails to render in QT when variable font is installed.

Is this still a problem? Seems strange that on one else would have noticed.
