Description Donnie Berkholz (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-12-11 17:47:30 UTC
File-NCopy0.32 doesn't work properly.
Comment 1 Nicholas Jones (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-01-10 18:10:34 UTC
I have no idea what this means.

Do you have a solution for this?
Comment 2 Donnie Berkholz (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-01-10 18:24:50 UTC
File-NCopy0.32 doesn't have a hyphen between NCopy and 0.32, so g-cpan.pl gets confused about what part the version is and what part the name is.

No I don't have a solution, unfortunately. A kindergartener knows more Perl than I do. The only solution I can offer is for our Perl folks to pester upstream about annoying distribution methods.

Ebuild exists in portage for this anyway

That's odd, I couldn't find it last time even though the ChangeLog says it's obviously been there.
