Description Rui Covelo 2004-12-11 08:45:59 UTC
There's a new version of amarok out. Would be nice to have an ebuild. I don't have the time now to learn how to make ebuilds. :(

Thanks!

Comment 3 Guillaume Castagnino 2004-12-13 02:38:57 UTC
The kdemultimedia is optional (only needed for arts backend). So you should perhaps set a USE flag for users that doesn't want kdemultimedia...

in portage, thanks...

kdemultimedia is needed for cdaudio playing. see bug #72802
Comment 5 Florian Ehrenthal 2004-12-13 07:33:58 UTC
there's one thing to be said about the mysql integration:
it's eaither mysql or sqlite!
so when compiled with mysql useflag you will have to have mysql running and configured to use amaroks advanced features / collections!
so maybe the useflag should be changed to something less common?
