After installing =net-im/skypeforlinux-8.64.0.67, i don't see the icon in the activities view Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Use GNOME 3.36 on Gentoo 2. Install skypeforlinux 3. Search skype and see you don't have the icon to start the program Actual Results: No icon Expected Results: Icon Skype
Please test and report also with another desktop, does it work with different versions?
I don't know if previous versions of skype are affected because i did't test. I tested on Xfce, icon is here. I tested on a VM with same version of GNOME, it works too... I have a mistake on my computer....

After updating my system, skype icon is here... Very strange, problem with rebuilding smoe deps ?
