wxPython 2.5.3.1 ebuild installs headers in /include/wx-2.5/wx/ instead of in /usr/include/wx-2.5/wx/, the path I excpected to see. I didn't try compiling by hand, so I can't tell if this is due to the ebuild or if this is a bug of this release. I checked the ebuild and it seems ok, for what I can tell. Are you using the hard-masked version in portage or the obsolete one that was in bugzilla?
