Description Petr Vaněk gentoo-dev 2020-09-03 09:07:39 UTC
Please stabilize, we use this version for almost 3 months without any issue.
Comment 1 Thomas Deutschmann (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2020-09-03 12:28:55 UTC
x86 cannot stabilize:

The following REQUIRED_USE flag constraints are unsatisfied:
    cpu_flags_x86_ssse3

...there is no real x86 hardware with SSSE3 support.
Comment 2 Thomas Deutschmann (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2020-09-03 12:29:43 UTC
Keyword should be probably removed.
Comment 3 Petr Vaněk gentoo-dev 2020-09-03 12:53:19 UTC
From http://intel.github.io/hyperscan/dev-reference/getting_started.html#requirements

Hyperscan will run on x86 processors in 64-bit (Intel® 64 Architecture) and
32-bit (IA-32 Architecture) modes. ... At a minimum, support for Supplemental
Streaming SIMD Extensions 3 (SSSE3) is required,

But I personally have nothing against removing x86 keyword.
