I've not gotten a mirror to cough up a copy of the berkeley db tar.

Other mirrors than the above give "not found" returns also.

Thanks if you can help a noob.

My noobieness is at fault.

Mirrorselect had pruned down my search mirrors a bit too finely.

I cut the GENTOO_MIRRORS= line from /etc/make.conf and emerge duitfully fetched the source for me.

-1 noobie point for me.
