Another bug where I don't understand how nattka can set green light: > dev-cpp/eigen:3 > > selected: (dev-cpp/eigen-3.3.7:3/3::gentoo, ebuild scheduled for merge) > skipped: (dev-cpp/eigen-3.3.7-r1:3/3::gentoo, ebuild scheduled for merge) (see unsatisfied dependency below) > > !!! All ebuilds that could satisfy "sci-libs/adolc[sparse]" have been masked. > !!! One of the following masked packages is required to complete your request: > - sci-libs/adolc-9999::gentoo (masked by: missing keyword) > - sci-libs/adolc-2.7.2::gentoo (masked by: ~x86 keyword) > - sci-libs/adolc-2.6.3-r1::gentoo (masked by: ~x86 keyword) > - sci-libs/adolc-2.4.1::gentoo (masked by: ~x86 keyword) > > (dependency required by "dev-cpp/eigen-3.3.7-r1::gentoo[test]" [ebuild]) > For more information, see the MASKED PACKAGES section in the emerge > man page or refer to the Gentoo Handbook. >
$ grep -C1 -R dev-cpp/eigen profiles -- profiles/arch/x86/package.use.stable.mask-# Dependencies not yet stable profiles/arch/x86/package.use.stable.mask:dev-cpp/eigen test profiles/arch/x86/package.use.stable.mask- -- ...
(It is, however, a reasonable argument that some arches may disagree with tests being masked without approval. This is the arm64@ position generally - we always want tests.)
I don't care, test dependency stabilisation is blocked forever.
x86 stable
x86 keeps test masked, bug 754327.
Please consider adding > RESTRICT="x86? ( test )"

Let's try 3.3.9 instead which has some fixes.
