The latest Wine version breaks IE6, in that the pixmaps no longer load for the toolbars. With the help of Google, I learned it is due to a bump in the version number Wine reports its shell32 dll as. The thread is here: http://www.winehq.com/hypermail/wine-devel/2004/11/0761.html I'll attach the patch I used to reverse the breakage from an earlier patch from codeweavers, and a patch for the ebuild. I'm not sure if an "official" solution will come from WineHQ any time soon, but if 20041201 is being concidered as the stable ebuild, we probably need this patch. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.

20041201 is the current unstable version
Sorry bad choice of words on my part. I meant if its being considered for possible use as a stable version. I realize it's currently the unstable ebuild.
wine-20050111 now in portage ... that resolve this at all ?
Yes it works. Thanks.
