From lineak website: lineakconfig and klineakconfig-0.5.x are NOT compatible with lineakd > 0.4.x As the current version of lineak in portage IS > 0.4.x it seems that lineak in is pretty useless. Perhaps we should have a klineakconfig-0.8-beta1 (the current as of writing this) ebuild in portage. Ivan Yosifov.
*** Bug 81049 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
Repeating Ivan Yosifov's comment: from "http://sourceforge.net/project/shownotes.php?group_id=38666&release_id=232716": Release Name: lineakconfig 0.4.1b Notes: This version should support 0.8 of lineakd. It has a known problem building the BTC keyboard model list but should still work with the selected keyboard model. Please notify me of any other issues. Changes: This is a modified version of 0.3.2 to work with lineakd 0.8.
Ok, I've put the 0.4.1b into portage as ~x86. Could you please try if the problem remains?
