This popular Chrome and Firefox plugin / extension / addon requires an application to be installed on the system to handle some of it's functionality.

This application works without standart installation.

page has both an targz archive and installation instructions.

I now have a fully working extension without ebuild and standart installation.

I tried to compile this project from source today, the build.sh script tried to install npm into /usr/lib64 - maybe this won't ever work with gentoo package manager?
