I tried to install gentoo on my new Maxtor
Gentoo was unable to install. On my old HD isntalling gentoo was no problem at
all( fast boot from cd)
On the new HD(xp runs on it)

The are a lot of errors during the boot!!!

pass it some kern parameters ... i dont remember the exact parameters but if
you google for it or take your prob to forums.gentoo.org you should find the
answer
also you could look into /usr/src/linux/Documentation/kernel-parameters.txt

Moving these so we can remove the "Install CD" component from "Gentoo Linux".

I apologize to everyone for this spam, but according to the bugzilla developers,
this is the only reasonable way to do this.
