Here is an ebuild for the FANN (Fast Artificial Neural Network) library. There is an experimental Makefile for adding python bindings under Linux available on the web. However, I didn't add this support in because it is not a standard part of the fann package--hopefully it will be added soon. This package was requested in bug #51728. Scott MacHaffie

Scott - FYI for next time just add the ebuild to the open bug.
