I've found that artsd doesn't allways shut down cleanly. When it keeps hanging around it causes other applications (pysol, wesnoth) to segfault. Killing artsd removes the problem. Reproduce: - start an KDE application (konqueror/kdevelop) - quit KDE application - start pysol => segmentation fault - killall artsd - start pysol - play game
